Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a RN Nursing Floor Coordinator to join our growing Operating Room team located in Richland, Washington!

Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. Exempt.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or higher, or in progress, required. If Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher is in progress, must be completed within 3 years from date of hire.

  • Two years recent nursing experience required (Operating Room).

  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.

  • Active membership in professional organization(s) (as applicable) required.

  • Current WA State RN Licensure required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.

  • Two years recent nursing experience in related clinical setting preferred. Healthcare leadership and/or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Certification in related specialty area preferred.

  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

As a RN Operating Room Coordinator you will Serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients and their families to facilitate safe and effective flow of patient care in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center; and assists in providing direction and supervision of nursing and support staff, as well as perform related duties as assigned.

  • Acts as a resource to staff, physicians, and visitors.

  • Collaborates with other departments to create systems and problem solve ongoing issues that impact departmental/organizational goals and/or patient care delivery.

  • Fosters an environment that nurtures collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect through effective communication.

  • Takes actions that indicate a consideration of others and being aware of the impact of one’s behaviors on others.

  • Optimizes use of time by effectively using resources to identify barriers and balance priorities.

  • Efficiently utilize tools, resources, techniques, and/or systems to organize tasks.

  • Balances multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of each task while maintaining quality standards.

  • Provides input and participates in real time feedback, as requested.

  • Directs and supervises employees.
