Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Direct Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Team Based Clinic located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full-Time, 1.0, Day Shift
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current WA State RN Licensure.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
Five (5) years recent nursing experience.
Advanced assessment skills and nursing judgement.
Certification in related specialty area
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Registered Nurse Direct Care you will perform a variety of duties involved in providing patient care in a clinical setting.

Treat all patients, families, staff and physicians with dignity, compassion and respect at all times.
Communicate promptly and effectively with team members to insure safe and appropriate care.
Perform focused assessment of chief complaints of patients in a timely manner.
Assist in managing basic life support needs of emergent patients alongside providers and MA Technicians until EMS arrive.
Detect changes in patient symptoms, health or pain and provide appropriate care and immediate notification to provider.
Follow standing orders and protocols to perform nurse visits for simple acute illness.
Provide age appropriate care to patients across the lifespan with different conditions from infants, children, pregnant women and the elderly.
Maintain safe and effective care to patients with different acuity levels in a time restricted and demanding environment.
Constantly communicates and collaborates with providers to ensure optimal care is given to patients in a timely manner.
Serve as a preceptor to new staff/medical students providing them with orientation and training.
Promote teamwork, with an emphasis on timely and understandable communication of patient care information to the patient and between care providers.
Foster culture of safety.
Lead and promote effective working relationships in team atmosphere.
Participate in unit and hospital wide performance improvement activities in order to improve patient care.
Within scope of licensure and as per competency, administers medication as directed by the Provider.
Assist health care Providers with patient exams as needed.
Maintain appropriate aseptic technique for preparation, procedures and administration of medications.
Document all patient interactions in patient record accurately and legibly.
Consult and coordinate with health care Providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Prepare exam rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
Perform a variety of routine clerical functions as necessary.
Perform within limitations or scope of WA State RN Licensure.
