Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a RN Clinical Care Data Coordinator to join our growing Quality Care Management located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: 1.0 FTE, Day Shift
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Current WA State RN Licensure
Bachelor's degree in nursing or other healthcare related field, or in progress
If Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare related field is in progress, must be completed within 3 years from date of hire into the position.
Two (2) years recent clinical experience in an acute care facility
Master's Degree in an accredited educational institution.
Data abstraction experience.
Electronic and paper medical records experience.
Software applications experience, which includes Word Processing, Excel, and Access.
Research and statistics experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Demonstrate and sustain compliance with the Caregiver Expectations and Standards of Excellence
Support assigned critical studies through abstraction and collation of data from medical records and hospital data sources following strict data element definitions.
Define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws conclusions.
Work closely with clinical staff, leadership and providers to assist with changes in practice.
Complete accurately, submits timely and ensures integrity of all abstracted data sent to registries and regulatory entities.
Create meaningful narrative reports and graphic presentations of data as scheduled or requested.
Present proposals and recommendations to clinical groups, Administration and Management, when appropriate after analyzing data and reports
Lead and/or participates on Performance Improvement Teams in support of the goal to improve patient care
Collaborate in development and provides ongoing assessment of quality improvement projects in coordination with the healthcare team.
