Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our growing Hematology and Oncology Clinic located in Kennewick, Washington !

Shift Details: Per Diem. Day shifts.

About our Hematology and Oncology Clinic:

Our experienced and highly knowledgeable team at Kadlec Clinic Hematology and Oncology diagnose, evaluate and treat blood diseases (hematology) and cancer (oncology). This team of providers was the first oncology practice in Washington State to be recognized by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Certification Program (QOPI®), an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). The QOPI® Certification Program is an initiative to certify oncology practices that meet rigorous standards for high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.

  • All Registered Nurses without a Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) degree or higher must obtain BSN within 3 years from date of higher required.

  • Active Washington State RN Licensure required.

  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.

  • Oncology: Chemotherapy qualification required within two years from hire date into the position.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Nursing degree (BSN) preferred.

  • Certification in related specialty area preferred.

  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

As a Registered Nurse you are responsible for the delivery of professional, safe and quality patient care through the nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

  • Promotes teamwork, with an emphasis on timely and understandable communication of patient care information to the patient and between care providers across the continuum of care.

  • Provides and documents direct patient care through assessment, planning implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Reports changes to appropriate personnel.

  • Administers and documents medications accurately and timely. Reports discrepancies in medication management to appropriate personal.

  • Collaborates with heath care team and coordinates discharge planning.

  • Communicates accurately and effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians.
